CAPITOL HILL!!

The Punk Rock Flea Market continues our never-ending tour of Seattle and environs by bringing our patented blend of bargains, beats and booze to the VERY CENTER of PNW alternative culture – the Queer Bohemian wonderland of Capitol Hill!

On June 22 & 23 the PRFM opens the doors to a bright new star in Seattle’s cultural firmament. For two exceptional days the Quality Flea Center will be a veritable supermarket of culture, craft and weirdness. More than 150 choice vendors will open for business to sell you the clothes, music, gadgets, art, treats, sneakers, skateboards, electronics, vegan soap, bondage gear, mood rings, bike parts, graffiti supplies, snake oil and robot servants YOU NEED! Our painfully attractive bartenders behind the bottom shelf bar will be on hand to pour you something strong, the best DJ’s in the neighborhood spin music from noon to sunset, and food trucks will prepare the sweet and salty goodness you need to keep your energy at peak levels. But wait! There’s more!

The PRFM remains an ALL AGES event. Bring the kids, bring your parents, bring the whole damn crew. We are PROUD to say that since 2006 it costs just ONE DOLLAR to enter the Punk Rock Flea Market. We would argue that there is NO WHERE ELSE in the WORLD where one measly dollar buys so much – an opportunity to explore the physical, spiritual and musical treasures of the past while investing in the ongoing relevance of pop culture and supporting local independent businesses. All that and MORE. For ONE DAMN DOLLAR. What are you waiting for??!

As always, the PRFM supports our friends the Low Income Housing Institute, aka. LIHI, with a donation from our proceeds. LIHI is a non-profit organization that provides homes for homeless and low-income people all around the Puget Sound, and is currently leading the effort to build tiny self –contained houses for homeless people and families around our region. More info about them at www.lihi.org.
